If anyone has any questions about the City, go ahead and ask. I'm not a resident expert or anything, but I'm a pretty good observer.

Actually, I was never conceived. And I don't expect to be believed, but I've found my mouth stitched shut with glossy pink thread when I think of the lie-filled love life that I've led...

I row boats all day with Karl, Vlad, and E. Leon, my tongue made of ivory, my teeth are all gone. The bones in my face they weren't here all along.

I'm straight and I love your coffee cake!

I found a lost puppy and I took him home, since then he's agreed to leave me alone for over a month cuz I'm spelling bee queen. Let me tell you more, you'll see what I mean.

I took a sea lion by the waist and I twisted it, then I kissed it. It was mossy and chaste. That is funny, isn't it? Not to tell you would be such a waste.

Can't you see me? I am your long lost best friend. Please believe me, all these things have happened.

I went for a ride on the carousel, I was on a yellow horse, right behind the swan. In the swan, a man and a woman they were doing it - I didn't want to look. I wished I'd brought a book. I looked down at the chip in my horse's red mane. He had a high, soft, beautiful voice. I got down and ran around, and then I asked him his name. He said out loud, he said it was "First Choice."

Yes Mom, I'm still a virgin. And you are Marilyn Monroe. When I was a little girl, we grew wings and flew under the sea to see my daddy, Mr. Edgar Allen Poe.

Oh, I would crawl into the furnace to take a warm nap on the cast-iron lap of Walt Disney. Then we'd go out for a swim in the Sea of Mercury. I never thanked him for what he did for me.

Can't you see me? I am your long lost best friend. Please believe me. All these things have happened.

I need a healer. Edgeworth requested either Lilith Sahl or Megumi Yamamura.

He's sick and running a very high fever. I'll do what I can to bring his fever down, but the guy needs real help.

I think I would've liked this curse better if it made the water into grape juice instead of milkshakes.

Okay, City, I've got two requests.

1. Please tell me anything and everything you know about trials that have been run here in the City. Were there successes? What were the ultimate verdicts? Who prosecuted and defended? I've heard that a deity will preside, but I've also heard that there was a jury involved. I'm looking for as much first-hand information as you can provide. Everything's appreciated.

2. On a less serious note, who's up for a friendly game of poker?

Okay.

Seven years ago, I was disbarred.

It's possible to make the wrong decision for the right reasons. I won't get into it, but I was willing to risk my career if it meant even a slim possibility my client could return to his life and his daughter.

Knowing what I do now, it might be easy to say what I did was completely pointless. I would still have adopted Trucy, and I could've kept my badge, "If only..."

This weekend - a laundry list of the things I lost. A painting of what could've been. A different, more satisfied version of myself.

But that Phoenix is not reality.

Because I never would've made that decision. I've always taken wild chances, and in the past, they always worked for me. I was bound to lose sometime. That's what happens when you keep gambling.

If we allow ourselves to be consumed with guilt, regret, grief, we'll miss out a lot. That's what I figure, at least.

And when it comes down to it, I'm not sorry. Even stacking what I ended up as against what I might've been, I'm not sorry.

Trucy? Did you see where I put those papers for the case tomorrow morning?

I wanted to look over them before I went to bed...

[ooc: Phoenix is cursed out of his mind, thinking he never presented Kristoph's forged evidence seven years ago. So now, have a 33-years-old lawyer Phoenix. He still ended up adopting Trucy because Zak still ended up disappearing before his sentencing, but he never lost his badge.
